the pictures are of the actual birds that the feathers come from,i have them in a storage case and i will randomly pick out a dozen from this,12-15 feathers i will send, i try to pick out the ones that look the best,i hope this helps

you could use all the feathers theres lottsa uses for all of them from earrings and all diff types of crafts ...I make dream catchers n they would be beautiful in them and diff crafts depend on size of the tip
