This auction is for 500+ Rustica Tobacco Seeds. When they grow, the flowers are yellow. They will have a faint sweet smell, they aren't very fragrant but they do flower beautifully and the leaves can be used as smoking tobacco. It's a very strong tobacco that if you were to smoke it alone, it could make you hallucinate. So, you would want to mix it with other tobaaco such as Virginia.

This is a very potent rare nicotine strand. This plant is the highest in nicotine in the world. When they are dried they smell like a fragrant flower, kind of a strong sweet smell.

The Rustica Plants these seeds came from were grown here in New York by me.

Since they were grown here in upper New York they are now climate adjusted to grow in cooler climates and will thrive even hardier in warmer temperatures.These were packaged for 2013 season and passed a germination test at 99%.

Growing Information:
Seeds should be surface sown in fertile, well-draining soil in full sun. They are best off being direct sown after any danger of frost or sown in trofts outside and transplanted to the ground when about two inches tall. They can also be started indoors for an early start but you have to keep them warm. Thin plants to about a foot apart, and cut off the flowering tops to increase leaf size. Regular fertilization is recommended
