I hate to sound stupid but is a micro SD card just so one can hook to the internet to upload music etc.? I have never had a cell phone so am rather dumb about it all. Thank you for your patience.

It includes 10 free minutes already. Then each time you put airtime minutes on it, it triples your minutes. So if you purchase a 60 min airtime card you actually get 180 minutes.

No sorry it isn't. It's a basic operating system, runs java scribt and will do messaging and such from things like Facebook, doubting it will play games n' if it does it will be limited ones. It's good for a new beginner or someone that only uses the phone to make calls; text; pictures etc.
