Up for bids is a set of hitch accessories for either a small 1.25" or standard 2" receiver and a 1 7/8" or 2" ball. They are simple but Made-In-The-USA quality products by Acme, to protect your vehicle's empty hitch receiver and its trailer hitch ball. Both are new in the package (the package looks a little beat up, but the parts are new, in perfect condition).

The ball hitch cover fits both 1 7/8" & 2" trailer hitch balls and helps protect them from rust, scrapes and scratches which eat up the ball and make it harder for you to get the trailer hitched and unhitched. They also make it a bit easier on the shins when you bump into the ball when its on your bumper or receiver.

The receiver plug cover, which sells online with prices ranging from $6.83 plus shipping all the way up to $11.60, is made to "keep debris out of the trailer hitch receiver hole while providing an upscale finished 'look' to the hitch when not towing."

Since many trailers are grounded through your vehicles receiver, keeping rust out is important to keeping your trailer lights working properly.
