A lot of people ask me what a starter Reborn is?
A starter reborn is a childs play doll that was painted using reborn air dry paints and rooted with mohair. Any reborn is not safe around children under 12 because they could rip the doll apart and eat or choke the polly pellets. Starter reborns use plastic polly pellets instead of fine glass beads because fine glass beads are powdery and plastic pellets are much bigger. Parents use starter reborns to see how their children will take care of the baby before they spend hundreds on a real reborn. It is the safer and cheaper way to go. The body is cloth and isn't jointed. The arms and legs are filled with polly pellets and polly fill, then sealed with hot glue. The body contains a nylon filled with polly pellets and double tied. The body is also padded with polly fill. The head is fastened to the body using a thin cable tie. This doll is pretty safe for light play. After I weighted the body I sealed it with hot glue.

It's painted in several layers of paint including veining, flesh color, warm blushing, dark blushing on cheeks, nose, eye lids, bottoms of feet and hands and finger and toe joints, darker nail and lip color, creases painted, gloss look on nails, lips, nostriles and eye edges. The head is thinnly rooted with curly brown mohair and it's been glued on the inside of the head. The head and body has been weighted with poly pellets that were secured in a tied nylon bag and the baby was also stuffed with polly fill.

Baby will come with her green and yellow dress she is wearing and her pink hospital band she is wearing (on her left upper leg) with her reborn info. on.
Crib and blankets are just props not included.

most reborns have a cloth body and could go either way. This one has a cloth body so you could change the clothes, remove the pink hospital band and change the name if you wanted a boy. I have another auction were she has her girl parts. I take picts. if they have a gender so people can see the details of the paint better. If you wanted it to be a boy I will enclose a free blue hospital wrist band for you to rename the baby. Thank you for the question:)

I might be listing other M&M babies in the future. I haven't had a chance to reborn anymore yet. Anything under 1 pound I can do free shipping because it will only cost 6.99. If I send a 1-2 lb. baby to CA. shipping cost a lot 12.00 parcel. The box will weigh about 1/2 lb. for a small box.
