Coyne Applied Practical Electricity - For Home Study and Reference Use, by Coyne Electrical School Chicago in 1946
This book belonged to my farther and it has stored in my family home for the past 60 some years.
This book, in my opinion (after review), does a very good job of explaining the basic of electricity in an easy to understand format.
The subject areas covered in this are: Electricity and how it behaves, Magnetism and Electromagnetism, Electric Signal system's, Circuits Relays and Call System's and Telephony (a bit out dated but interesting).
I think that this book would be described as being in overall decent condition.
The cover boards are straight and squared, the corners and the edges of the spine are bumped and slightly frayed. The binding is tight and all the pages are accounted for and intact.
The pages have yellowed a bit from aging, but have do so evenly.
The only pen or pencil marks noticed on or in this book are: a name in pencil on the first page of the book, a name in pen on the title page, and some notes in pencil on the last page of the book.
There is a mild old book smell to it, due to be stored away for years, which will most likely fade as this book outgasses.
It is approx. 4 3/4" x 7 5/8" and it has 401 numbered pages plus four glossary pages and 26 master reference index pages. It weighs in at a slightly under 1 lb.
Please see the pictures provided in an attempt to convey it's description, details and condition as accurately as possible.
All in all a good book on electricity for those that would like to be knowledgeable or for perhaps the future electrician.
