Because of the low cost on the post card I was asked if the post card was real. The cost to mail a post card was 4 cent back in 1965 when this special post card was issued by the U.S. Postal Service. Shows you how much inflation the country has experienced in the last 50 some years. For what it is worth a hamburger cost 25 cent, a bottle of soda pop was 10 cents, a candy bar was five cents, and gasoline was around 25 cent a gallon. A new car could be purchased for less than $2,000!
