Boxed set commemorating Rolling Stone Magazine's 40th anniversary. DVD-ROMs contain every issue of Rolling Stone Magazine from 1967-2007, issues 1 through issues 1025/1026 in their entirety, including the ads. Over 98,000 searchable pages. The companion paperback book is a 208 page photo filled book that shows a year by year peek of what was happening in the magazine in stories and in pictures. In these DVDs and in the book you will find just about every rock star known over those 40 years as well as many other icons from television, movies, and radio. Some of these artists include the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Van Halen, Ray Charles, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Guns N Roses, Madonna, the Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, Gwen Stefani, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Eminem, Usher, and more. Other famous people you will see include Clint Eastwood, Howard Stern, Johnny Depp, George Lucas, John Belushi, Bill Clinton...and the list goes on and on. This set is in used but good condition. The outer box has some scratching and shelf wear as shown. The book is in good condition with only very minor bending of the spine and covers, no torn pages. The DVD case shows minor scratching and wear. The 3 content DVD-ROMs and the installation CD all have minor surface scratching that does not harm playback in any way. There is also a package insert that was pressed into the recess behind the book which shows some wear from the book being taken out. This is a very nice set, and cost $70 new.
