Black Star City Clothing Co. item can be worn as a vest or as a blouse. I don't know how the pocket showed as gray, but glad it did (too much light maybe) so it would show the embroidery on the pocket flap (not real pockets). This same pattern is on the collar. The buttons are covered in satin. I've worn it once because ... well, just because. It's a polyester rayon mix.
