This is actually 1000 Mexican pesos HOWEVER, Mexico remonetized in 1993 and 1000 old Pesos became 1 new Peso. Therefore on today currency exchange, this coin has a USD conversion value of about .08 cents today. This is relatively easy to research. On any search engine just type in 1989 Juana De Asbaje $1000.

I was told a collector would pay three or four dollars for it, so I hope they b some collectors out there in listia land!!
