Hi!!! Welcome to another wonderful auction of strange and unusual items for giving away from deep within the vaults of PETER'S ATTIC!! I am your host, PEDRO. Today, I am pulling no punches; I am very pleased to present another well built, and in excellent condition, a 2 Foot model of the infamous STAR WARS STAR DESTROYER of the IMPERIAL EMPIRE fleet. These awesome powerful space ships first appeared in ALL 3 original STAR WARS MOVIES; AND in the REMASTERED VERSIONS in the 1990's and early 2000's. THESE WERE THE STANDARD SPACESHIPS OF THE DREADED IMPERIAL EMPIRE; WHICH MADE UP THE GREAT FLEET OVERSEEN BY THE SITH LORD HIMSELF, DARTH VADER!!! I personally built this highly detailed STAR DESTROYER from a Canadian model kit from the old MONOGRAM COMPANY; purchased from JAN'S HOBBY SHOP in the mid-1990's. This STAR DESTROYER has been in my personal collection of sci-fi models for nearly FIFTEEN YEARS. As far as I know, the last time I saw these model kits on the hobby market, was around 2004. I haven't seen them since that time; making a finished model very hard to find and own. This particular STAR DESTROYER is named the "DEL ALANGE." As you can see from the above photos, the model that I built is very impressive for around 18" inches long I did my best to copy the details from studio photos and the original box art from the model kit. I have shown this model to some people in the finished, sci-fi model collecting business, and just STAR WARS fans; and they have shown interest in wanting to own it for themselves; but I have been reluctant until now to auction it off, but today, my dear friends, you are in LUCK!!!
