Plant a trumpet vine and you're sure to have hummingbirds visiting your yard in summer. But that's not the only reason to have it; trumpet vine is ultra easy to grow and quickly covers walls, fences, or other structures with a curtain of green leaves and bright flowers. It's native to areas of North America, too. Note: Because of its fast growth, many gardeners consider it invasive; runners under the ground can pop up several feet from the main stem. Light: Sun Zones:5-9 Plant Type: Vine Plant Height: Climbs to 30 feet Plant Width: Climbs to 30 feet Flower Color: Red, Yellow/Gold, orange bloom Time: Summer, Fall Landscape Uses: Containers,Beds & Borders Special Features: Flowers,Attracts Hummingbirds,Attracts Butterflies,Drought Tolerant,Easy to Grow
Wow, I'm glad some else noticed the pics. I was looking for a honeysuckle vine not a trumpet vine. I have trumpets growing wild around my place but I was looking for honeysuckle for my hummingbird/butterfly garden.
