Two pre-drilled Half penny Coins as shown, copper nickel is 1947 and 50% silver is 1943. Acquired post drill, someone must have used them for a bracelet or as pendants. Enlarge the pictures for details. Shipping first class envelope, protected in coin holders and secured. NO tracking so if you require it, please do not bid.
Questions & Comments
Question came up in my other similar coin listing as to whether I was sure this 1943 coin was 50% silver. I replied with this: Thought so too, but these 2 are quite different metals. I finally found this link- http://www.ebay.com/gds/British-coins-silver-content-for-bul lion-buyers-/10000000001664130/g.html and it explained that during that time frame they did some in 50% silver. I have 2 auctions of the 2 different coins. Even the weights are different a bit...and the the darker one is definitely copper nickel.
