The listing, Photography Session has ended.

I am a beginning photographer who is working on getting a portfolio built. I am interested in doing a 30 minute shoot for you! I will meet locally and help you get the shoot you are looking for. You will receive a cd of 5-10 images and a release form allowing you to make prints for personal use.
Exceptions do apply but mainly any photo shoot for up to 5. You must sign my contract prior to the shoot saying you understand setting up an appointment and copyright on the photos and what you will recieve.

Awesome! I wish my babies were still babies lol I tried taking pictures and it was a hit and miss. It's alright if your starting it again, I hate going to those too professional places. It makes my kids uncomfortable to where they don't want to be there. That's why I'm looking into the outside scenes. Maybe catch them really good playing. :) and liked your pages on fb! You take awesome pictures!

I added a picture of my little corgi/sheltie dog to this. I took it of her at the beach. I have a home studio but can also do location shoots. Willing to travel or host in home. You can check out some of my other pictures on my facebook page L Workman Photography.

I have a number of pictures on that page but I also just got a huge upgrade in camera and a new lens today and the quality of the shots will also be much higher.

haha, that is fine. It also assures 5-10 digital images that you would be free to print because sometimes clients "don't like the way I smiled in this one" or other such things, therefore I'm assuring you should have 5-10 images that are printable. I can't control all things but do all I can to have the shoot you want :)

right now I just have pretty basics. I have a cute painted wall and a real nice loveset (seatee) I have a garage out back that has an old barn wood look to it. I can also shoot on location. I'm planning a day of mini-sessions at Yorktown beach very soon but there are also a lot of nice very close to me locations. I have a plain white background but it's not super long, so it's good for kids or families seated on the floor. I have a number of things for babies and 1 year old shoots for both boys and girls... Did you have anything specific in mind?

Outside scenes maybe.. Our family is way over due on a family portrait and I want to get my 2 year old and 11 month old some good pictures too. I do love the old barn look but we don't have one so maybe we could come to you. We live in downtown Portsmouth and right on the Jamestown river I guess it's what it's called. So maybe a lake scene as well. I'm definitely going to bid and if I don't win will definitely set up an appointment and can discuss further about scenes.

Sounds great! Like the things says, I'm really just getting started. I used to a lot of portraits when I was in high school and 19 working for a Ritz Camera but that was film and VERY different from the digital thing. I just got started back doing pictures and I'm working on my portfolio. I am up for anything, lake photos, beach photos, in my yard, in the studio. The $25 launch pricing will go up in October but the cost this month is really just to cover some of my travel, time editing and to help me afford upgrades in stuff like business cards and packaging :) Good luck on the auction and like I said, feel free to check out my facebook page. I have a lot of pictures in each album from the same people/same shoots. The 1 year old photos has a lot of my blue wall in them (his mom loved it and wanted it as the backdrop) and in newborn there is one good shot of the whole loveseat.
