While a lot of people didn't like this movie because they based it on the original, we have to remember, the original was made by a group of friends with very low budget. That is what made the original so good. But they said that when Evil Dead 2 came out, that is what the first one was suppose to be, even though just as campy, there was more of a budget.

This new movie was a combination of the original 2, but with what the original creator wanted. Now in later years with so many technical advances, most of us miss that campy feel to horror movies, but this was a really good reboot. They didn't dis-respect the first in anyway which was a good thing. You just have to remember to keep old and new separated. Like the new and old Jason and Freddy movies. So many reboots, but they have been making the reboots their own, and not just copying off the old movies. Who wants copies? Give me reboots anyday! I Love new stories!

Also, This was a really good movie as I love movies and critique them pretty hard. There was nothing I would change in this movie at all and whomever ends up with this movie is very lucky! F&W!

I know, right!!! LOL! I was raised on horror movies and married a man that doesn't like them *sigh* I LOVED the original and he had never even heard of it!!! I don't ever really have the time to sit by myself and watch movies so there is no point in me keeping this :(
