Indeed it is nice to see a fellow small town Marylander here on Listia!! I do love living here among such a small population. Lived in a condo in Crisfield before moving here,still have the condo but we keep that for inclimate weather and swimming purposes now. Just made a Smith Island cake yesterday! Wouldn't trade this place for the world!

I visited once and just fell in love. I moved to Crisfield and just waited for the opportunity to buy a home on the Island. It took 10 years! We decided to look for land to build on as opposed to an intact home and finally the opportunity arose to own land in Tylerton and I pounced on it. I grew up in a very big city and wanted seclusion. I love how serene and idyllic it is here and it's cozy being part of a very small population and knowing your neighbors so well.
