BRAND NEW~ WORLD MARKET ~ Made in India. These rolled paper notes were traditionally used to carry important anouncements of the Royalty. Message bearers would carry these fromone town to the next, and announce the new laws at local meeting points. These rolls have also been used to send love notes. Made from recycled hand made cotten fiber paper, a traditional hand screen technique is used to emboss the psper with paint.
