Is this the smallest gauge. I have never gauged my ears before. Are these the right size?

umm...no. if you did that you would blow out which means your ear would tear. From a regular earring hole the first size you could safely go to is an 8. The sizes go 20(regular earrings), 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0, 00, 7/16, 3/8. the smaller the number, the bigger the hole. ***I have size 8 and 6 gauges posted**

im still new to gauging ones ear. I know I am a size 6 but could I use these to help train and stretch out my ears?

yes, you can. the sizes go 6, 4, 2, 0, 00. The smaller the size the bigger the number
