Genascott1- glad to hear your new too. It seems really fun. I found the app to help a bunch when listing items and searching them. I don't know how much you know about Lista so far but I got some pointers from a friend that might help you. GIN you earn to use and can cost points. If you start an item at 500 points it costs 50 points or something like that. So I start mine at 499. She also said it is important to validate your address and enter it as soon as possible. It can take a while and upset sellers. (That what I've seen on listings and heard). I was lucky and my address validated quick. Good luck. Hope you like it as much as I have been.

As far as patience I already took 3 days off the auction. Which I felt was more then fair. It went from 7 days to 4 days. I can't do a BIN because it costs credits and I have not earned the ability to do a BIN yet. At this point in the auction it won't allow me to take more days away. I will also lose bids if I have it listed any shorter amount of time. I understand the patience I have items I am bidding on that are days out and it's frustrating waiting.

Genascott1- I will see if I can retry verifying my account. I don't know why it isn't verifying. I received an email from Listia saying I was Verified and received my badge. Is your daughter afraid she would receive the item or something? I'm an honest person and have had an eBay account for years with nothing but a 100% feedback. If it helps and makes her more comfortable I can message you my cell phone number and she can personally contact me. Did you have to sell and get a feedback to get fully verified? Is it the fact that I don't have my debt card verified that it isn't verifying me?

Helsley..It is not showing up that your account has been verified..I just verified all you have but it shows on my badges..hmmm but still watching..my daughter was originally bidding, but she has no patience..lol

My account should be verified. I verified my FB, my phone number, and my address. I do not have twitter account. I don't think it is nessassary to verify my bank account since I am doing free shipping and there will be no money transactions. So I don't see why I am not verified.

You will get a lot more bids if you verify your account. Welcome to Listia. You can do this by clicking on the "Listia" logo on the left hand side of the screen. Scroll down until you see the heading "Account settings". Under that you will see "Verify Your Account". Click on that and you will be able to verify your account with Listia.

I was told I have to earn GIN and it costs credits. I am new to Lista. So I don't have the credits to spare or the experience points yet to do GIN. I've done EBay for years and this site is similar so it shouldn't take long to get my credits and experience up so I can do more. Sorry! I did change the auction from 7 days to 4 days so hopefully that helped a little. Have a great weekend. :)

There should be an edit button when you go to check on your own auctions. It doesn't credits.

I can bring it down a couple days. I am new and don't know how. Does it cost me credits? How do I change it to 3-4 days. Is there anyone who doesn't want me to or anyone else that would like me to change the amount of days?
