Again it was given to me. I never had to question was it real because the girl who got it went to the outlet to get it. It's an old purse made for little girls.

1) no tag of authenticity
2) a person say went to the outlet does not mean it was bought from the outlet~could've been at the swapmeet.
3) still consider this purse a fake..NO TAG!!

Hello doll! Welcome to listia. I believe what loveslanepierre was trying to ask, Is if it has a tag Inside the bag? There should be a small lil Dooney and Brouke tab inside the lining. That will have a number on the back. That is all you need to prove its authentic.

Tags are sewn into the bag inside with a serial number no tags? Not authentic but it is cute :)

Thank you I now know that:). The bag was given to me by a friend awhile ago I just never really carried it because its to small for me. There is no tag with an authenticity # but there is something sign on that says Dooney & Bourke. The only tag inside the bag says made in china.

Welcome to Listia......I just want to state not only the lack of an inside tag with a serial number shows this is not authentic, but the DB logo is wrong as well as the hardware.
