The same or similar to 'Paris Market' and 'Parisian Market'. The small, globe to top-shaped bright orange carrots are not much bigger than typical globe radishes but are packed full of deliciousness!

These are a good choice for container gardening or for gardening in heavy and rocky soils. This is in fact, what they were developed for. In the "olden days" when agriculture was local and produce was only available in-season, "forcing" varieties of carrots were developed so that they could be produced in frame or greenhouse conditions. These Carrots grow to a height of approximately 6 inches and are a very hardy variety, so this plant will tend to survive even through most freezing conditions.

This is a Nineteenth-century French heirloom. Early round red-orange carrots, 1-2" in diameter, uniform and very sweet. Does well in shallow or rocky soil. Can also be grown in containers. Highly sought after by gourmet restaurants and a great seller at markets. Ready to harvest in just 50-68 days.
