Description

The listing, Vintage Original Nintendo Game Boy & Accesories has ended.

Original, vintage Nintendo Game Boy in good working condition. This belongs to my Mom, so it has always been adult owned and well taken care of. With that being said, it does have some flaws just due to age. The Game Boy itself powers on and plays just fine, but as with most Game Boys of this age, it is missing some lines of pixels on the sides (look it up, this is the most common flaw on these units which they fixed in later models). There are some very fine scratches to the screen which are difficult to see in the pics, and the magnifier unit also has some fine scratches on the lens. As you can see from the pictures, all four games work, the Game Boy turns on, and the Performance light up magnifier also powers on. There are no missing pieces. It is also very common on these units to be missing battery covers, but as you can see, both the Game Boy and the magnifier have their battery covers. I played all 4 games to make sure they are in good working condition, and had the Game Boy and the magnifier on for 30 minutes with no issues.

There are 4 games and 3 cases, as the game that came with the unit did not have a case. Here are the games:

Tetris 2
Ms. Pac-Man
Dr. Mario
Tarzan Lord of the Jungle

I tried to describe everything, but if you have any questions, please ask. The winner receives everything pictured.

I live in a smoke free, pet friendly home.

I will mail this to the Listia verified address of the winner within 5 days after the end of the auction. I always provide a tracking number.

I am a trusted seller, and I take pride in what I have to offer. If you are the winner, and there are any issues with what you receive, I will do my best to make it right. Please give me the chance to fix things for you before you leave feedback.

Happy bidding!

I appreciate it, but another one of these ended on here last week for a little more than that, and it had only three games, no magnifier, and no pictures of the back or the device turned on. So I think it can do a little better. Besides, the winner could turn around and easily get $50 - $60 for this stuff on eBay.

Don't pay attention to the little kids obsessed with Pokemon games. You have a rare working item here. You have about 40k worth here, and if they want the convenience of the GIN, they can pay up right? ;-) That's where patience for the end of the auction comes into play.

Thank you so much! I do try to research what I list so that I know the relative value of things, but it's nice to have someone confirm it.

These systems don't sell for much more than $10.00 I won won 2 weeks ago with the system that looked like new, magnifier, ac adapter and 3 games, case case from original owner for 3000 credits. You can check my history to verify.

Yes, I see you won that with a 3000 GIN. Good for you, that's a fantastic deal from someone that didn't realize they probably could have gotten more. As I said, I researched this before setting a price, through retailers that buy these items outright. Yes, the system itself goes for between $10 and $20 depending on condition and if pieces are missing, such as the battery cover. Each game and the magnifier goes for between $5 and $10 as well. 6 items, $60 dollars on the high end, which is why I set the GIN where I did. Realistically, between $40 and $50 is reasonable. I also watched similar items on here and on ebay for a week to see how they did before listing this. I do appreciate your input though.
