Questions & Comments
I have a new little kitten estimated to be around 6 weeks old and she was covered in fleas and of course we cant give her medicine but i was able to wash her in dawn dish soap and pick most off but i guess my question is: can she eat these if she is only 6 weeks old? are the ingredients things most people already have? and will they work for dogs? or do you have another recipe that will work for dogs?
Hi there Emily? I'm sorry you are having such difficulties with fleas. Firstly, these treats are more to prevent so I believe the first step for you is the soak the kitten in dawn and warm water for 5 minutes, that drowns and kills all the fleas. Secondly you should use a flea brush and brush her coat to try and get the eggs, then you'll need to use a natural flea spray in your house to kill the fleas that aren't on her that she brought with her initially. Your bedding, her bedding, vacuum any carpet and rugs really well then dispose of the vacuum bag immediately as they will crawl out again!
After you've done those things you can feed the kitten these treats, I'd say about 12 small ones a day. If she won't eat them plain which I haven't had a kitty or dog refuse them you can mix them broken up in some wet food!
The fleas are horrible, I have just two indoor Cats but they still get in and I can say that these really do work because of the two active nature ingredients!
