A Chinese heirloom variety: popular there - RARE here.

These radishes are shaped like daikons -- long and thick, and the top 2/3 is bright green thoughout. Its crisp and sweet flesh works well for fresh eating/salads as well as for pickling.
Very unique and colorful, These only grow well in cool weather; great for fall planting.

Please note that they do not do so well in hot weather - so you gotta plant 'em now! (that's why this is a short auction)...I got these seeds at the National Heirloom Festival a few days ago, and just planted mine!
