you need someone with a brain to interpret the bible for you and as commanded in the ""A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent" (1 Timothy 2:11-12)" so know your place lynnlylove and shut up for you are in the act of sin. lets play i game called who here has actually read the bible. i raised my hand and now i am an atheist but don't feel too bad i also read the quran and 3 other religious texts and i can tell you that they are all bat crap crazy.

Can I ask something? If you do not believe in God and/or the Bible, that's fine. That is between you God (from our perspective) or you and yourself (from your perspective). But, if you want to try and prove the Bible's inaccuracy, why not just say that, rather that claiming to prove it's "stupidity." Why attack it's character, and by extension, the character of those who believe in the texts contained within this book? See, by attacking character, you are only serving to show your own character, or lack of respect for others.

I was bidding on this, because I was honestly curious as to what you had to say, but I have no intention of engaging in a bidding war over this and furthering the call for this type of auction on Listia. (I am referring to digital "items" in general, not religious text/debates) I don't suppose you would be willing to provide me with your views gratis, would you?

i have no respect for a book that tells people to treat women like crud in between their boots. as well as it's 409 accounts of excused rape. multiple accounts of murder are said to be OK if not encouraged and slavery the work of the "righteous" and "intelligent". if anyone actually can sit down and read the bible front to cover and really grasp what is being said all the while saying yes i do agree with everything this book says then that person is a disgusting human being. the book calls for segregation of races and condemns orphans and "*****" born as well as their 10 following generations strait to hell with no questions asked.
