The ElmScan PWM Scan Tool can be used to turn your computer into a sophisticated auto diagnostic system.

Diagnose problems with your OBD-2 compliant car.
Turn off Check Engine light, read and erase trouble codes, display real-time parameters, check emissions readiness.

This unit works with the J1850 PWM protocol used mostly in Ford Corporation and some Mazda vehicles.

The software program for the computer is included.

what size ford will it work ford or engine size/ year

United States legislation requires all cars and light trucks model year 1996 and newer to be OBD-II compliant. The size of the engine is not important. If it's a 1996 or newer Ford car or pickup truck made for the US market it should work for you.

Correction It should say made in US. There are some European versions imported to the US that may not work.
