These are beautiful flower shrub and one of the earliest bloomers in Spring. It fragrance will fill your garden with wonderful scent. Because it is a very early bloomer in Spring, you might want to plant it where it gets enough sun but shielded from any early frost that might damage its flowers. All the plants in my garden are organic and I don't use any pesticides in my garden nor lawn.

I love this plant in my garden. it is about 5 ft shrub and it is a big ball of green leaves in the summer.

do you know how long it would take to grow into a bush from a seed?

Sheridanayers, Honestly I have no idea bcos mine was not grown fr a seed. I would assume a few years (2-4 yrs). Once established, they grow pretty well. I have to trim mine 3X in a yr to keep it to that size. It is a low maintence plant with hardly any diseases. Hardly any fertilizer is needed too.
