The listing, Amazon Kindle reader has ended.

Like new Amazon Kindle. Great shape, works perfectly. It comes with the plug in charger but no cord. Has only had one user. Giving away because I received a Kindle Fire and do not use it. Hoping it goes to a great home!

Yes, it comes unregistered so it can be re registered with another account.

How can you turn it on without a cord?

It comes fully charged, I just don't have an extra charging cord to send with it. This was a gift and I've been using my android phone cord to charge it. As long as you have an extra one laying around it should be fine. Plus, they aren't that expensive to buy. Only a few bucks.
