This auction is for a VINTAGE 8mm film reel with a GREAT metal film can. This thing is SWEET!!!! Great eye appeal. The can has the vintage Kodak logo on it. I believe this to be from the 50's but might be as late as the mid 60's from the films I've watched. Don't miss out on this GREAT vintage treasure!!! A true piece of Americana.

Maybe this is an idiot question: is there something recorded on the film or is it unused? I ask because I have four 8mm projectors that all work and I have been looking for some vintage film.

Yes there is something on the film. This is a sports reel. It has Olympic style diving, swimming and fishing. Its the kind you used to be able to buy at Woolworths and Sears back in the day. I have a bunch of these film reels ill be listing. I had a projector listed before but I got a cash offer locally so I am getting rid of the films I have left. I think they make great display objects as well as being a great piece of history.
