What to do with those single skeins for fingering weight yarn that you just had to have but are not enough for a pair of socks?

This pattern is the solution. These fingerless gloves are warm enough to wear outside on those brisk days but light enough to wear indoors to keep those arthritic aches and pains at bay without hampering your fingers.

I designed this pattern for using the 2 circular needles method but for experienced knitters, it can easily be adapted for the Magic Loop method.

This is an almost mindless knit, perfect to work on while watching TV or chatting with friends and one of my most popular designs.

How much yardage is needed? Very nice.

Appros 230 yards or one 50gram skein of sock yarn if you make them long like the photo. Yardage might vary if you do anything other than plain knitting the rounds. But even with that, it should vary much. I rewind my yarn into 2 equal weight center pull balls. Helpful if trying to match stripes like above. Thank you.
