Is a star literally named after the person you gave this to?

Yes, you get to name a star with the International Star Registry. It doesn't have to be named after a person, you can name it whatever you want to.

Here I am hoping to win this one for a little girl named madison that lives in illinois, I just won the tiger for her little brother Evan because they lost their two little sisters 1 and 2 years old just a couple weeks ago to a fire along with everything they own. I just want them to have a good christmas! With two of these they both can do one in memory of each little sister they lost. They are only 4 and 6 years old themselves.
