Thanks, not too much better, I hope your tooth (less) is better though! Lol! If you have a scanner you could try putting the ring on it (remove the cover) and put a contrasting or white piece of cloth or paper on top of the ring, you can crop in , by first make copies of the original scan(save to disc) crop the copy and that will give you a nice close up pic. You might need to try a couple different angles. The scanner only sees well close up, (about 1/2") beyond that will be blurry.

I will do my best..I can take good pics with my camera on other items, but for some
reason when it comes to rings and necklace's, it come out blurry.

there are no markings on it, the stone looks pretty and even though it may not be real gold the band has shine and pretty detail.
