These are seeds from one of the stars of my butterfly and hummingbird garden. The Nanhoe Blue Butterfly Bush is a beautiful, stately shrub, attracting several butterflies and hummingbirds each day! I have been blessed over the last 3 years to have seedlings pop up and survive our harsh winters. They prefer a winter mulch and die back to the ground every frost, but quickly grow to full size the next summer.
