FREE: the Art of Instrument Flying 2nd Edition

The listing, the Art of Instrument Flying 2nd Edition has ended.

The first two editions of The Art of Instrument Flying earned "Best Technical or Training Book" awards from the Aviation/Space Writer's Association. Now, this comprehensive primer on instrument flying is improved with updated material on GPS, changes in U.S. airspace classifications, and other recent developments in the world of aviation. Drawing upon his solid experience as a pilot, instructor, and writer, author J.R. Williams delivers a clearly written, purely instructional guide to flying aircraft by instruments alone. By excluding extraneous material on flight test preparation, he is able to provide a more thorough, hands-on treatise than other books on instrument flight. Chapters are devoted to topics such as instrument interpretation, physiologcal factors, planning IFR flights, approach angles, Loran-C, and Omega and inertial navigation.

Obviously this is a stock photo. I can assure you that ALL of the books from my own personal library (of well over 1000 books) are in near pristine condition. While they have all been read, some several times, they are all well taken care of with no rips, tears or stains. This particular hardback book does not have any writing, underlining or highlighting. The only thing that prevents me from listing this as 'like new' is the fact that the cover does have some marks on it from age.
