It took me awhile to use some- your question is not dumb at all.
I have used them making jewelry - making Christmas ornaments.
I soldered some on copper shapes for ear rings- drilled some with small holes for charms - glued some on wooden shapes- birds on bird houses etc. I make hand Warner's for little girls and have glued them on the fake fur - especially the tinker bell - the elephants went on some candle holders that I painted. I also use e 6000 glue and put the on head bands etc. but it did take me a long time to decide what to do with them- have used a lot of them though !
