Description

The listing, Fossilized (Dinosaur?) bones & Crystals!! WoW!!! has ended.

If you liked my megladons, you'll love these!! There are eleven pieces in this auction. I tried to get the best possible pics, and I will add more. I wish I knew more, but I bought these long ago and I really don't remember where or when, I just know I thought they were really kool! I believe they are fossiled (Dinosaur?) bones. One kind f has a look of a tortoise shell , one has a crystal jutting out(the longer pointy one) and in the 4th pic, I think you can ee upper right looks like a smoky topaz or smoky quartz crystal. I'm not too knowledgable about these , but they are not just rocks! You can see "pores" in most like you see in a cross section of bones. Whose bones, I don't know! But they may be extremely old, and I'd appreciate any input from you rock hounds, and dinosaur bone collectors! I live pretty near The Dinosaur Museum ,near Hartford, so possibly I bought them there,I'm also near another place ,or possible Nature's Art which has Dinosaur bones and rocks for sale.(Very kool store! I f come to CT check it out! I've gotten all kinds of great gems there and fossils, too!). I hate to charge for shipping, but these really need to be wrapped and in a box, and I am not rich so I can't offer free shipping on everything though I try as much as I can, it isn't always possible for me .(I'm a poor starving artist). And how often do you come across fossilized anything? These are great for the beginning collector or the sophisticated sleuth who can figure out what and where these came from! A little detective work would be really interesting! And I for one would love to know more! But, I've had them for years and now it's time for them to make someone else happy! Good luck, and check out my other auctions, too! More things like this will appear from time to time on my auctions, as I have collected all kinds of interesting things throughout my life!

Wow. Where did you get these? Just found them? Is the photo edited or are they really that sparkly?

Lol! No , I didn't "find " them in the sense of like did I "mine " them ? No!! I found them somewhere , like a mineral show , I used to go to quite a few, I think maybe these I bought possibly at Staples High School , they hold a big Mineral Show once a year(Wesport ,CT , I think it is) or could have been an antique store ,I forget, had them quite a while., and yes, they are quite sparkly ,but I did lighten the crystal pic because it was too dark. I'd say these are very close to looking like crystals from a Chandelier.
