Botanical name: Helianthus annum x 'Moulin Rouge'

This hybrid annual will bloom mid-summer to fall, up to 6 ft. tall, in full sun. This rich velvety, deep red sunflower is excellent for cuttings - - it is POLLENLESS!

I recommend direct sowing these seeds outside as they transplant kinda iffy. Sow after the last spring frost in your area. Germinating in 10-15 days the seedlings will grow fast.

All seeds I offer have been treated with ground cinnamon to help inhibit seedling problems with damp-off. Some surplus cinnamon residue will be seen in the seed packet.
