This sweet baby was just born on Oct. 2nd. at 5:16 PM! His name is Kenny, he weighs 6 lbs. 6 oz. and is 19 in. long.

I've been reborning for about 3 years now. My reborn name is Little Angelheart's Reborn Babies. He was painted with several layers of high quality reborn paints. He is bald. He has veining, several flesh color skin layers, warm blushing, dark blushing, molting, creases, his nostrils are open and dark felt was added to the inside of the head at the nostril holes to make him look more real. His legs and arms are 3/4 length. His nails have been tipped, his eye brows have been painted, I will put his eye lashes on (forgot that part), he is weighted with fine glass beads and poly fill. He has a magnet on the inside of his mouth for his pacifier, he has a high quality jointed cloth body, he is lightly scented like baby powder. His nostrils, lips and eye edges have a moist look. He looks and feels like a real baby.

He has a few darker blue "booboo" or "birthmarks" marks on his legs and maybe on his arm (see picts.). Someone tried to reborn his legs and arms when I bought the limbs and messed up on it so I had to strip the paint and repaint him. Some of the blue had stained and I ouldn't strip it so I tried to hide it under several layers of reborn paints. I bought his head new. He is being sold as is...see picts. of his "booboos"

***he is not a play toy, he is weighted with fine glass beads that are not safe for kids under 12 who may rip the doll open, inhale or eat the beads- I must state this by law I think***

He comes with a newborn diaper, blue hospital band with his birth info. on, and his onesie he has on.

My camera isn't very good so he looks much better in real life, from a smoke free home, He retails for a few hundred, check out my other reborn dolls, starter reborn dolls and other items I will keep listing, I take paypal for shipping- the box will weigh 8-9 lbs.total. **This will be the only week listed on Listia.**

Holding reborn dolls are great therapy for moms in an empty nest & for elderly women in nursing homes! And when teen agers hormone changes cause them to start longing to have a baby, a reborn doll can keep them content awhile longer so they focus on schools & careers without rushing into motherhood :)
I happened to get a reborn very cheap on eBay that actually looks like my deceased daughters newborn hospital picture. My daughter was 28yrs old when she died but all moms feel that their adult kids are still their babies & holding the look alike reborn comforts me when I'm missing her.

Those are some great ideas for new reborn owners. Thank you for sharing about your daughter. I'm sorry for your loss. I usually don't tell people this but, when I miscarried I had a problem letting go. I kept wondering what the baby would have looked like, and why. Making reborn babies has really took away my sad feeling. Everytime I complete a baby and mark the "birth" info. on the hospital band and everytime I send a baby to his or her new Mommy or Daddy it brings me joy and happiness. I've made all sorts of reborns and no 2 are the same. I've since been blessed with other children but I still love making reborn dolls. You have to really love the art to reflect in the finished baby.

Thank you! I've shared some of my dolls in my mom group and artist goup and people thought they were real! I had 1 like the photo sticking out of a diaper bag on my shoulder and you should have seen the looks of some people as I was walking by! I think they thought I was abusing my "baby". Take a baby like this to the mall and you'll be amazed at the reactions!

Yes it's the same name, I have 3 newborn girls on now...1 asian, 1 opened brown eyed dark brown hair, 1 sleeping blond hair. I should have 2 larger babies posted saturday...1 is a 25 inch brown hair blue eyed girl and a 23 inch blond haired brownish/green eyed boy. I am hoping to have 2 preemie girls ready in a week or 2.

Sorry no I can't. I'm making an Annie toddler for the 1st time now. It takes 4-6 hours to root a newborn head so a toddler is 2-3x as big so it would take 8-12+ total hours to root a head that big 1-3 hairs at a time. I just ordered a wig for mine (1st time I am cheating with the wig) because it would take way to much time for something that only sells for about 20.00 more.
