that's awesome I play with my 9 year old daughter the card game also :)
this is great as a starter set since there is no doubles of the actual Pokémon but it depends on which Pokémon you would like to play the card game with best thing I would suggest is look up the card stat info I listed to see if certain cards interest you
they also sell some starter sets in walmart , target , & toys r us just to name a few

Hi. Please excuse my ignorance about these cards. I was wondering how old these are? I recall takin my son to these Pokemon tournaments and like toys r us about 8-9 yard ago. And know he was crazy about these things. So trying to find cards like he used to have. Btw your Liston is very thorough. Kudos to you!!

I have a really big 1 I'm going to do in November all are not doubles when it comes to Pokémon not including the trainers or energy
