The listing, geforce 8800 video card has ended.

this is a good video card not the best but still good.... tested and works but not sure how well for gaming didn't notice the bad spots however I am glad they were pointed out.

Absolutely. Thats why I have so many. People keep giving me older ones and I part them out and build them better. I wish more laptops were like this one. Then maybe there would be better options for upgrades.

I have a bunch of laptops and desktops.... lol. i do the same thing as you but lately nobody is buying anything around here. I listed a desktop with monitor keyboard and mouse for $80 and havent gotten a single phone call. I was selling them like crazy at the beginning of the summer. I have 5 laptops for sale too.

I had a good laptop but the video burnt out on it. It happens to be a rare model with a removable and upgradeable video card but its old and has a max capability. I shopped and decided that the 75 bucks it would cost for another card could be spent on a higher quality card for my desktop. More space but capable of higher video ram. Laptop could max at 256mb which it had but was definitely dated.

Me too. I need one bad as well. Thank you for pointing out the issue. Surfing listia from my cell makes little things slip by. I have many many parts but am in need of a good video card. No one has left me anythng good lately. I have whole running towers I'd trade for one decent video card.

You do know this card is fried right? There are 5 bad caps on it and you know this card doesnt function! Also those arent the books for this card.

Well some more bad news for ya... lol. I just zoomed in on the pic this is a XFX GEFORCE 8600 gt. Not a 8800. Still a nice card if repaired though. Still watchin.

Its not to hard to replace the caps but sometimes finding the right one isnt too easy. If it goes cheap enough I might still be a bidder.

Well if you get another one please post it. Some of us are trying really hard to get a video card for ourselves. Some of the buyers are only buying these things to take and resell.

I work on computers and take in non working computers as trade ins and list a lot of stuff on here.... Just keep an eye on my auctions because I never know what I get in... I usually list anything desktop I get in because everyone wants laptops
