no sylviasmith5221, the highest bidder is always the highest till the about the bid on the auction is beaten. so if i bid 2555 credits your bid will still be under mine and i will still be the winner..if you bid 2599 then you would have out bid the amount i bid and you would have become the highest bidder but till you out bid some one that bid high you bid will always be out bid from the get go. you can find the info about it here >>>>http://www.listia.com/support/topic/proxy_bidding
