100% Polyester Made In China so it is a petite 7-8 if the child is not very A line I would be careful, it does stretch.
I love how shiny it is and how it is cut up like a Saloon Girl skirt, Heck you could use it for Halloween and make her a Hello Kitty Princess, :} or for dress up, with tights and a long sleeve top for winter, or dress up!

You say the size is "petite 7-8." I really don't know what that means. My youngest grand-daughter wears a size 6X in most clothes and she LOVES Hello Kitty. I would like to try to get this for her for a christmas present if you think it would fit her. PLEASE H-E-L-P an old grandpa.

That is soooooo sweet, I think that would be just fine as it is a small 7-8. Yet if you want to measure one of her clothing items, like a paid of pants or skirt, I can measure the skirt if the measurements are not posted already, I do no recall.
I would say this is more like a 7 and a 6x and a 7 are very close. Happy to answer any more questions. Gina
