Im thinking the white stuff hes talking about the the coolant/adhesive used to stick the CPU on, looks like you/whoever put it on used way too much i dont think it would hurt the processor though.

yeah if you r talking about that grayish looking stuff then that's the thermal compound ...and that's how it came from the factory and I never had any issues with it .

my listia app isnt working good at all . at least your pics show up lol mine are all white and blank .. also i have a verified addy but when i use the app , it says i dont . so ur not the only one having probs with it lol fanned
