I'm not sure if that would work and it would be a pain in the but for a star bucks cashier to try and read & punch in the #s for someone. Besides first class mail would have it to someone in no time. and having an actual card would allow someone to use it more than once without having to save the #s.

all you do is call Starbucks,read the numbers to them and they add it to your already registered card.
Or they register this one for you.

I prefer to mail it, with a tracking #, and if anyone wants to do that when they get the card it's fine; but it leaves room incase anyone would rather have a physical card that they can keep in their wallet
