I ordered a live seedling crape myrtle and it spent two days sealed in a plastic bag type mailer in august heat... Needless to say it was deadish. Leaves withered looked rotten. I planted it in a little pot anyhow and set it in the bay window. A couple weeks later it just sprouts new branches and is good to go like nothing ever happened... Hard to kill indeed...
