So I live in TX and admittedly don't know much about bib snowpants. Are these really puffy and just for long periods outside on freezing days? Or still appropriate for normal wear on cold days but that is just their name?

They are basically used for being out in the snow as they're a little bulkier, warmer & moisture resistant, but their intent is not carved in stone. Keeping warm is my #1 priority but then again, I live in PA where we get lots of snow & it can get down right cold. So, it's the individuals"s preference.

Ok, thanks for the info. I have lived in PA and CO before and I think I understand now. These are the puffy outfits the kids wear for a whole day out in the winter or a few serious hours of snow play. I was thinking it might be more of the outerwear type thing that comes on and off as you go in and out. Thanks for the info!
