Description

The listing, 15 Pomegranate seeds dried make juice wine has ended.

15 Generously counted pomegranate seeds from this years crop. Dried and ready to plant. Pomegranate juice is delicious, nutritious and very expensive. Grow you own and saves loads of cash making your own juice. My hubby makes wine with the juice and it is just heavenly.

These can be trained to grow in a tree form or as a shrub. The tree they came from is over 40 years old and about 8-9 feet tall and the canopy is about 10-12 feet across. The fruit is large and the sweetest I have ever eaten. The owner does nothing with the tree but prop up the limbs when they get heavy with fruit and trim it a bit to keep it from getting too thick with folaige. She doesn't use any chemicals on it at all and it produces wonderfully year after year.

Hi, yes, I did plant some a few years back and had good luck with them, I only wanted one tree and that got destroyed in our house fire unfortunately. How long it will take to produce edible fruit is not predictable, it depends on too many factors. I know the one I started got some small immature fruit the second year and the 3rd year it burned before it blossomed so I don't know how long it would have taken to produce edible fruit. If I remember correctly, I planted several seeds about half inch deep or so in a 6 inch pot and I hung a light over them for a little added warmth until they were coming up nicely. Several plants came up and when they got up to 6-8 inches I snipped off all but the strongest looking plant. You only need one tree to produce fruit. There are several online sites you can check out to get more info. The online sites say to plant them in Oct. through Nov. I think I planted mine in February and just got lucky. I would go with the experts though and follow their directions.
