Description
The listing, limited available...golden eggs eggplant...new to my garden has ended.
Due to extenuating circumstances this year, the better part of my garden died. Not to be discouraged though, I have purchased some new to me seeds in anticipation of my best garden next year. I would like to share some of my excess here as I wont plant out 30 of these this spring. That being said, I cannot attest to their flavor or usability in cooking.
This is an heirloom eggplant that has been reported to be grown in Thomas Jefferson's famous Monticello garden. The fruit is reported to be if goose egg size and ripening from a creamy white to a golden yellow. Seed count for this. package is 15. Growing instructions will be included. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.

mmmm i like new stuff, watching & fanned & bidding near end
In the northern states these are more of a house plant. or at least brought in during winter months. The eggs are edible mostly during the stage of white before they turn yellow... they are in the family of eggplant. I have found that if you are going to eat them the best time is when they are turning to yellow, too soon they are bitter .. kind of like a melon.... anyways.. they are a great item either way. Excellent conversation piece...
