It really is a lovely brooch. I bought it new, but I never had an occasion to wear it. Basically, it is new. It has just been sitting in a drawer unworn for roughly 10 years.

I'm just curious, are you a teacher? One of my elementary school teachers had a pin collection like you wouldn't believe. She had a pin for every occasion. I can honestly say I never saw her wear the same pin twice. I have to say looking back on it now that I'm an adult, I'm kind of jealous.

we have an a zoo here in colorado that has tigers that will swim in the water and play with balls. they are fun to watch
