I found this beautiful planter at an estate sale, and it was not cheap! Such a pretty pattern! Please see all pictures.

If you use it as a planter, you do not need a hole in the bottom. You just water the plant less and put rock at the bottom for drainage. I have many plants that I have in dishes without the hole for drainage. I just thought I would share because I have over 100 plants.

Well, thanks for your opinion, but I disagree. I'm pretty old, and have grown many plants in many types of dishes. Never have a "ruined" one.
Whoever wins it can do whatever they want to with it, whether it be planting a plant in it, eating soup out of it, or feeding the pet from it.

Haven't been able to get enough points up for this lovely planter. Whoever wins will be so lucky! I was happy to read from LuvTheAuctions about you can plant in anything even if it doesn't have a hole to put rocks in the bottom. I thoug that might possibly work, but glad to hear it as I wouldn't want to kill any of my plants....
